Back from my epic journey questing along the Leeds / Liverpool canal in a narrow boat. It was rather fun, and probably the most British thing I've done in a long time. I had a really bad migraine attack on Sunday, the likes of which I have not had for ten years. It was about as much fun as having a stroke, which it resembled quite closely. I used to have these a lot when I was a teenager and I thought I'd grown out of them ( Read more... )

I've just realised Odyssey is in a week. I should probably pay for the event, write character background, write group background, make kit, get kit, find out how to get to the site and figure out what I'm going to hit things with.

Reading the rules, background and game material might be an idea too.

Poor Aestar. I would quote Dean Learner to sum up my feelings:

There comes a time in every LARPer's life when you realise nobody around you is IC and you should give up roleplaying for the moment.

And that time is NEVER.
