Ok so I come asking a favor. It's totally Days of our Lives related and yes it's a soap opera so I'll understand if you don't want to help me, but I'd like your opinions.

But Sami was raped by EJ and she married Lucas, but for some reason the writers want to keep putting her in the same room with this guy and making it all ok. As if she'd be ok with laughing and pretending like nothing happened. I'm irritated, can't ya tell?

yah i've gotten into watching days again after a few years of not following it whatsoever and that whole thing was like ej rapes sami but its semi-ok since its to produce a dimera baby and just shows you how evil that family is. ugh. ej was "hot" when he was first on when it was just him being a race driver but now with the while dimera thing it's very annoying and stale imo. maybe the writers also think viewers won't object so highly as opposed if this had happened to belle since sami was never a saint on the show... idk

The writers seem to be using the rape as just a way to further the stupid Dimera plot instead of telling the story of a rape victim.

i agree which sucks but i suppose in their world, they're just trying to get ratings to go up and nothing gets people interested like the dimeras right??

I totally agree with everything you said. I think it's disgusting that EJ is constantly put into storylines with Sami after everything he's done to her. I really wish they'd give him something else to do.

I'm so sick of people going on about how EJ's all "layered and unpredictable and three-dimensional" lately. It pisses me off. Frankly, I don't think his character deserves whatever complexity the writers have been giving him recently. Give more complexity to Sami or to Lucas or hell, even to Nick or something. EJ's a rapist. He should not be able to get close to Sami again.

I am so on board for this campaign, if you couldn't already tell, lol.
