Hey, BrendapsychmuseDecember 12 2005, 08:28:53 UTC
You were always the music theory guru of sorts. I've been out of it so long, I'm finding I don't remember much. Can you help out with something? I'm playing for a wedding and I have an alto sax part (don't ask). How would I get that into notation I can read for oboe? Thanks a ton, KAL
Hope all is going well. Want to trade jobs for a week, just for a break in routine? I'm finding I miss music enough to wonder if teaching might be fun.
I'll trade jobs this week. You can deal with the program. I'll go home and drink. However, there's a JH job in Bloomington that you'd probably like if you are truly interested for a year.
Probably the fastest way would be to just read it like it is written in bass clef and use the key signature in the piano part. You don't have to re-write the part or anything. However, if that confuses you, you can always read it up a m3.
