Today is my son's first birthday, I'm really not sure how I feel - how am I supposed to feel? This past year has been overwhelming and I feel all over the place today, but I'm big about dates so it was to be expected. No word from either the solicitors or the social workers about the paperwork that needs to be received by Thursday, since they sent out the incorrect form I've not been advised any further. Neither myself nor my partner are able to drop everything the second they get in touch, we have jobs and you know, a life, one outside of this situation ( Read more... )

After finding out we had less than a week to get the document witnessed and sent back to the UK, I've now been told they do not think the form we were given is the appropriate one.
