An eventful day...

I volunteered at the Cajundome today...it was a good experience. I volunteered on the second floor of the dome which is the medical level. I was in the mental health and psychiatric triage area...being that I'm all of 2 1/2 weeks into medical school, I can't do too much:) I pretty much sat and talked with a family for like 5 hours. Let me know what happens at the "meeting" in case there's any good info. :) I sent you an email, but in case you didn't get it - the www.lsumedstudents.com website is very informative - Mani is basically posting every tidbit of info he gets on there. Go to Forums and click the Hurricane forum - there's everything from housing to finding classmates on there. Our whole class has basically come together through that thing, with only a few missing persons left.

We're heading to BR Sunday - hopefully we'll find somewhere to live, but we are very skeptical on that one.
