My to-do list yesterday:
Take a shower
Cut fingernails
Go to grocery store

I'm happy to say that it all got done! (Which, surprisingly enough, is not always the case...)

Now if I could only find time to study somewhere in there... in a few short weeks, I'm going to be responsible for taking care of people's children... It would be nice to know

Today is day #3 of the cloth diapering experiment. We did laundry today. Putting the diapers on, taking them off, spraying the poop off into the toilet, and washing them has turned out to be surprisingly easy so far... Hope that keeps up. We may transition to cloth at night by the weekend. Then we will only use the disposables for when we go ( Read more... )

I don't know what is up with all the shootings on the news - 3 people shot over Easter weekend, 2 shot while changing a tire, 2 shot in Franklinton, of all places, and nola.com said something about gangs - in Franklinton?!  And all after I find out I'm staying here for residency.  Not that I'd want to go somewhere else just because of this news - ( Read more... )
