I would never have called myself a Sidney Crosby fan. But neither was I a hater. I appreciated Sidney for the most part, for his talent and for his ability to deal with being under the microscope ALL the time. His maturity was something to be impressed by. I think overall, I was neutral towards him

Well written, as usual, and I agree 100%. He is a player you have to watch carefully to really understand how good he is. He isn't flashy and in fact a big part of his greatness is how he can 'disappear' at the right moment and 'reappear' at the right moment. I agree with you - the more I watch him the more impressed I become.
