Having won the war (for now) with NHL, I've been charged with cleaning up the battlefield, and it's been a messy business. In and out of hospital twice in the last month for assorted pings, pains, wheezes, woes, itchy bits and ickiness. And in between campaigns just generally in such low spirits as to avoid contact with other humans

I'm sorry to hear that you are still waging war with your ills.For every battle won, there always seems another. It's so not fair. I wish you could just get well - I'm waving my magic wand as I speak.

My year to date has been full of various trials and tribulations so I haven't been on-line anywhere near as much as is usual for me. My silence does not mean I no longer care, just that I'm temporarily wrapped up with enough other crap to hold my full attention elsewhere.

I'm beginning to think we ought to put a bounty out on the person who first said, "Life can only get better".
