There is a very real possibility that my state will turn blue for the first time in 30 years tonight. I will be soo very proud of us if we pull it off. We are a weird mixed lot though. Most of the folks here aren't big on straight party tickets. They kept going with republican presidents, but kept electing democratic governors at the same time. ( Read more... )

First things first: Work is going really, really well. I passed my 90 day review with big gold stars, a nice raise, and insurance! Not just insurance but insurance for both me and the hubby!
