East Meets West

Most of my family (and Annette's) are on the east coast. Annette's mom lives in Brighton Beach in NYC and her sister in Boston. My mom lives in Framingham (which is about 20 miles from Boston) and my dad lives in Manhattan. um... no it's not. granted, more difficult than moving around in the US, but it's certainly not 'incredibly difficult.' I think you'd like Europe, but I definitely see Portland as more of a green, hippie town.

Yeah, I don't think it would be all that hard if I planned well. It's one of those things that would be tough to just spontaneously get up and do, but it isn't out of my reach if I want it. Somehow after you've moved across the country without a job or anybody you know waiting for you, nothing seems completely out of reach.
