so the biopsy revealed what dad has. its a low grade (slow growing) follicular b-cell lymphoma. at this point in time they are not going to try to treat it. instead he will have scans to monitor the growth and wait til it causes problems. on the one hand this is good news as he doesn't have to undergo any nasty treatments yet, but from his ( Read more... )

so dad had a biopsy done last week. after much debate as to how to actually do the biopsy (the growth is right in the middle of his body) they decided to go in with a needle. good news is the biopsy was successful, they did collect enough cells. unfortunately they cannot identify the type of cancer he has. they have had to send the biopsy to a ( Read more... )
