I just saw Twilight with cellibella, thuri and Corli, and ah hahahahaha.

Now, everything I learned about Twilight, I learned from cleolinda, with a side helping of Breanna and the crazy lasses over at Twatlight, so I went into this for the lulz, not any real interest in the story (which I could rant at length about, given what I've heard

As I've said before, I read all the Pern novels when I was teen, I'm sure if I was still a starry-eyed high school kidlet and didn't know any better I'd be devoted to this stuff.

That said, I have a friend who's suffering through the novel right now, and I really think we need to form a truly twisted book club and MST it like this. So much Mary Sue shouldn't go to waste!

I will never read them again, so annoyed at Bella for so many reasons, but I still would like to borrow the 4th book from someone to see how the story ends. I'm more interested in the action between the werewolves & other vampires since that at least is unique in how the vampire lore is different, but that's about it. I did see the midnight opening with a gay guy totally hot for Edward, 2 other grown women, and one husband dragged along, which was funny to be in a packed theatre with the squeeing girls everywhere. My verdict was that the movie overall captured the essence of the book, goofiness & all, but the meadow scene totally fell flat & didn't work at all. I did read the cleolinda summary and laughed pretty hard... :)
