I'm terribly pleased to be a former Republican congressional campaign manager who turned in his party card to vote in the Democratic primary the following year.

Scratch that. I'm just proud to be an American right now.

War hero on the right. The man I voted for, and will vote for, on the left. Either way we all win.

Christopher's Wacky Civics Idea of the Day:

A Constitutional amendment could move all of the current functions of The Ways and Means Committee from Congress to a panel of lifetime appointed administrative economists (Think Alan Greenspan) similar to the Supreme Court.

I'll give my pro's and con's later. Thoughts?
