Sweet. I really love this. You do so well at writing Deans uncomfortableness... And Castiel's gorgeous confusion... And I'm still loving the Angel!Babelfish... And Dean exploiting it with popculture references, the sneaky bugger...

This was really gorgeous. Its a total pleasure to read, the low points where Dean gets all angsty (or when people tell him the wrong thing, those bastards... I wanted to stab... People, then. So made me cry) are so painful and heartbreaky and do funny things to me as I read them, and the high points where everything feels like it might not just be so doom-and-gloom if they can just have this... Naww. Its just. Perfect.

Reading this fic has made me glee so much. I make references to it in RL quite a bit, actually, when I get the opportunity. Its really beautiful.

I've been having fun with angel!Babelfish since the first chapter back in December--I think I told someone back then that it was inspired by Castiel's reaction to Dean's Thelma and Louise comment back in 5.03. You could just see the wheels turning in his head: "You want to hold my hand...okay. But sailing off a cliff together? Um, why?"

Thank you so much for the very kind compliments; I'm flattered that the story has inched over to your RL. And you're so right about the doom-and-gloom; I love the canon Apocalyptic storyline, but I'm wishing for a glimmer of hope for our boys in the upcoming episodes.
