i think i need to say some things.......

i genuinely love  gay people BECAUSE i'm a christian. NOT inspite of it...

when i love, i DON'T have an agenda.  i love them for WHO they are, and i WON'T try to change them to fit MY MOLD because i give them credit for having a brain, beauty, the capacity to love genuinely, the respect they deserve - NOT pity

Chantal, your love for the people around you has spoken volumes to me. You are not one who loves with words only but with deeds, and that is exactly what Christ wants. Thank you for your honestly in this entry.

Why is it that we get caught up in emotions and the "here and now" and forget who we owe our very life to? I think that I personally could have used my time up at camp for Christ's glory a lot more. I let him down, and I regret that. But coming back, my family in Christ is full of encouraging and challanging words (like your entry) and I am so thankful for them! Christ definately worked in my heart after reading your entry.

I admire you for your faith, and I hope that someday I will be more like you, as you and I both become more like Christ.

I meet so many people who call themselves Christians, yet express nothing but contempt and condemnation for homosexuals. It hurts me to see this, and it is good to know that there are people who refuse to participate in this mindless hatred of and discrimination against this group of God's children. And it is especially good to see that YOU are one of those who are able to take seriously Jesus' command to love our neighbors - all of them. Thanks, Chantel, you've made my day.
