The next 27 days are going to be painful.

I'm now getting up for another college bookstore job unpacking 1000s of 10 pound textbooks for the semester rush at 7 am every day in the worst month of the year to do it 5 days a week 6 hour days. amberwoodrose gets home here at 1:30 am, and getting to sleep in this nocturnal house before 3 am only happens when we're ( Read more... )

Ahhhh... snow! I'll trade places! (I LIVE in Florida. We haven't had snow in Tampa since '77.)

Nah... I admit... I've never had to LIVE in snow. And I only tried to drive in it once. I'm better off walking.

I couldn't drive in it every day, work your hours! I'd be a basket case!

At the end of your 4 week stint at work, I strongly suggest you hunker down under the covers at night with your beloved and sleep for a few days...but Florida sounds great too! :P

It always feels to me like a new latitude for the currently melting ice cap is trying to form, like one of these bad old years we'll wind up having a Katrina force blizzard-hurricane one winter (I meanw ith global weirdening who knows)and the snow wont ever go away for another 15,000 years and I'll be flash frozen like some woolly mammoth probably sitting right here at mt computer, DUHHH. :p
