1st Handspun Scarf
A quick knit even is done over 4 days (5-15min at a time). I made a drop stitch scarf out of the first yarn I spun on my wheel. I must say I'm feeling quite pleased =)

Triggers mittens pour moi 2
My favourite mittens have given out. I love these mittens for the separated index finger. It makes fiddling for keys or whatnot so much easier in the cold. I'd popped both the thumbs last year, ripped them back and re-knit them. But they are starting to get bald spots and I've run out of this yarn in the stash. Time for a new pair.

Toasty Toes and a Dinosaur
What is one to do with sock yarn left over from a previous project? Knit socks for the 2nd time ever. I've never been a sock knitter. Slow Cooker Guinness Stew
Back in CEGEP stew was one of the first "adult" meals I tried to cook. I didn't turn out very good for a long time. Failure to rise
I tried making bread from scratch for the first time today. I tried the "First Loaf" from Bernard Cornwell's Big Book of Bread, Soups and Stews. Looked easy enough what with the extremely detailed recipe and directions. And yet the darn dough failed to rise. Why don't I sell my hand knits?
With the exception of a few commissions for friends, I don't sell my hand knits. Why not? Simply put, no one would be willing to pay what I would have to charge for any given piece in order to make it worth my time and energy. This is a conversation I frequently have with non-knitters.
