I had a very nice, very fun Shabbat in Ra'anana. I probably should have slept some more, but you know... Not that much to report, only I felt obligated to post seeing as it's been around three-four days.
I tried to get some of my midrasha friends to come over last night so could go star-gazing (something I'd promised myself I'd finally do this year) but only one could come and then it was too cloudy to see anything, and this was after driving around ( Read more... )

I've had some interesting experiences of nationalism, of both of my nationalities, in the past few days. I tromped around some of the nature paths of my country with my family on Sunday in an area next to a monument in honor of soldiers who were killed in the Independance War. Much Israeli patriotism. Hello, I've jusr finished studying for the Psychometric for 3 hours and 20 minutes and I feel like my brain's dripping out my ears. The thing is, I couldn't sit through it straight - I had to get up every now and then - it wasn't even a practice test that I was doing, and those are 3 hours and 20 straight with no breaks in between! I've had a rather enjoyable two days.
Yesterday I went to participate in an IMPACT demonstaration for the *recalls long winded name* "Forum of traditional martial arts styles". Or something like that.
