It has been quite a while since I’ve updated this thing. Lately Alvin has been sleeping through the night so I generally get up around 0400 to go to the gym, then if I’m lucky I can get back and get a shower before he wakes up. Well, my first two weeks back at work have been very uneventful. It seems things have really slowed down and we don’t have much going on at the moment. Well, as of today I’m 36 weeks and I am excited, but not because of the week, I just want him here. Things have been going as well as to be expected. Both of the baby showers went well and right now we only need to get a few little things for the crib and other miscellaneous toys and such. Well I’ve officially made it to 8 months and am starting to relax a little. Actually that’s a stretch, me relax, that’s just funny. I am happy though that we have made it to this point and after the last ultra sound I’m anxious to meet the little guy. Also more than normal he is making himself known. Ok, I officially suck at keeping this thing up. Things have been busy as always, but good. The little guy is still having his growth spurts and I have had to take a lot more time to rest than normal. Dang I’m a klutz! I proved yesterday that once again I can not do two things at once and keep my balance while doing all of these things. I was walking to the car and getting my keys out of my purse when I didn’t realize that I was at the curb and fell down giving myself a small case of road burn on my right knee. The baby is ok. Good news! I finally got my acceptance letter to the UAH MSE program. I am still admitted conditionally with the understanding that I will have no less than a B average for my first 12 graduate hours. So I guess I’m just meant to only update this thing after a doctor’s visit, but oh well. I had my normal monthly appointment this past Tuesday and all went well. I was able to go ahead and get my flu shot so hopefully I can avoid that this year.
