So I adore Doctor Who, and ert has gotten me hooked on Firefly, although I was dubious about it at first. (Now I'm desperately trying to stretch the episodes out as long as possible.) We also have been watching BSG, which, while it had a good first season, has been declining in quality since then, in my opinion. But I'm still enough into it to want to ( Read more... )

I am! I'm halfway through already. But geez, enough with the soap opera. Could we, you know, have, like, a *plan*? That thing that they emphasize the Cylons have in *every episode*? Cause maybe the Cylons have one, but the writers sure as hell don't.

Why am I not shocked that you recommended *exactly* the same shows that I was about to?

Sick minds think alike, or something like that...

And lest you think that British sci-fi is all good lately, avoid Primeval at all costs. *shudder*

Oo, I know! I'm way behind on my BSG, and I feel downright silly asking people not to post spoilers for any of S3 at all, but it's also downright upsetting to suddenly get slapped in the face with something you didn't want to know yet...

Cylon Roomba Love.

I've been casually following Galactica until the last few eps which I've been going out of my way to watch.

My most favorite of the new Who is 'Girl in the Fireplace'. If you have not gotten to it yet, do so.

On my flight to Portland recently (I missed your play because I was in Portland, alas), they played a movie I thought I might want to see, so I plugged in my headphones and started watching ... and realized they were preceding the actual movie with some review of it that appeared to have been taped for them. Scenes from the movie, up to a few minutes long, interspersed with some guy talking about it. So either I could watch and listen, and have the whole entire plot spoiled before the movie started, or I could avoid paying attention, and not know when the actual movie started. *grr* (I didn't watch, so I preserved my ability to someday see that movie unspoiled)
