To do:  (And yes, this is a proper to-do list, not some trashy list of men I would like to sleep with.  As if I would ever create such a thing.)

- Fire assistant
- Resist urge to subject now-former assistant to medieval torture devices
- Find a florist  [Scribbled in after a few minutes] in no way connected to Neverlanders
- Hire new assistant
- Attempt ( Read more... )

I'm sure they're perfectly lovely. I'm just not certain that I can handle the...exuberance that comes with them.

There are days that I'm tempted, believe me. The work itself isn't bad, but the incompetent idiots I have to deal with are beyond painful.

Medieval torture devices are disappointingly difficult to find these days.

If you're considering taking on a Tale as an assistant, may I recommend Katie Santos? She's young, but she's adaptable and in dire need of the experience.

It's a pity, there probably is quite the market for such things. I'm thinking I might attempt to fashion my own thumbscrews...

Thank you for the recommendation, I'll have to speak to Miss Santos. I don't particularly care if she is young, as long as she can manage to deliver coffee without spilling it all over my desk. You would think that would be a simple requirement.

I suspect Marie Bouchard is already developing such an item for her Spring line.

Thank you, I appreciate it. She could benefit from the extracurricular activity.
