Yuuuummmmmm. And awesome design! Can you explain that foil technique a bit more though? Did you leave the foil on the cake? That doesn't make sense, then you'd have to cut through it... I think I got confused when you said "to make it flat" and I wasn't sure what the "it" was referring to.

Whoops, sorry if it wasn't clear... see how the chocolate icing is the same level as the green, so the whole top of the cake is flat (rather than having the chocolate icing on top of the green)? Basically what I did was construct a cookie-cutter out of a strip of foil in the shape of the dog's head, and then place that on the cake and use it as a guide for icing. Make sense now>
