The cyber-cafe I chilling at has blocked access to everything not on port 80.....everything! I shudder and wither and generally feel that my interweb experience has been robbed when I have no remote shell. Hrm....my original thought was just to set up an extra SSH server that listens on port 80, then just bind whatever extra ports I needed to the ssh tunnel when I connect.

But OpenVPN seems more versatile, and about a million times cooler on principle, so I'll definitely be going that route. Thanks for the lead!
