It's horrible when that happens isn't it - you spend all this time money and effort to do something, or go somewhere, and you pin all your hopes on it, but then it doesn't turn out quite right. Still, you got to see Japan, which for you must have been akin to a spiritual experience. I know it's hard now - but when the current feelings about it fade, you'll be able to see some of the good things, and in time you'll probably feel glad you went.

I guess on the plus side I got to see the real Tokyo, and it's a dark, ugly, and lonely place. Tokyo is not a nice place to be alone in.
