Archimonde is a very interesting encounter, something I definitely wasn't expecting even after reading up quite a bit on the fight. First of all, unlike the rest of Mount Hyjal..there isn't any trash! This in itself is amazing, as clearing that crap over and over again just to end up wiping to a boss and having to reclear again is an absolute pain ( Read more... )

Mount Hyjal has definitely been a nice change to the repetitiveness of SSC/TK. Although after a few more weeks of clearing the massive waves of trash I'm sure I'll be eating my words, right now I'm very content with seeing a lot of these fights for the first time. Kael'thas has pretty much been my bane during the past few months of playing this game. In Armistice we spent nearly two months trying to get him down, and ultimately he led to the breakoff of several of the most important members of the guild, perhaps acting as the catalyst for my departure to Sargeras. The past week or so has been relatively uneventful when it comes to in-game events. With the announcement of 2.4 and a lot of the adjustments that will be coming to the game I think a lot of people are simply satisfied with farming the regular old stuff in SSC/TK and thats about it until we can actually get into BT and Hyjal and experience some new ( Read more... )

I hate this fight so much. We've made amazing progression through SSC and TK..but it feels like we've hit a brick wall. Two days of attempts and we can even get a solid transition into phase 3. So frustrating...
