Uni is getting hard, as is general life in winter as always. I am quite excited about christmas but of course am worried about various things. I went shopping on Monday though and treated myself to a Chanel lipstick. I was so excited to get that little bag and ohmy, it goes on so silky smooth and looks so pretty.

Liverpool has lots of hidden gems, (most that I haven't even found yet) like St James' Gardens. Okay, maybe that's not really well hidden because it is right next to the Anglican cathederal, but I have never visited there and it isn't like one of the main attractions or well known places. Bloody hell, it's november already. It's my reading week next week and I haven't skipped out any books at all yet! I am so pleased with myself. Usually by this point I am getting complacent and just think 'oh I'll catch up in reading week'. But no, I won't have to this semester! I've been back in uni for 2 weeks now and it feels like I've never been away- as cliched as that sounds! I made a little calender with everything I need to read for each week on it and some weeks there are up to 5 things! The minimum mount of texts is like 3 - it's getting quite heavy going already. Hello all. I have returned to Livejournal (although I check my friends page like everyday!) partly because I have been meaning to for a while and partly because bronzemedal  prompted me to! I've not long returned from being in Scotland for a week and Italy for a week and we have the new puppy now too so it is quite crazy for me at the moment. I'm just settling back in to being at home, getting used to the new dog and the weather and preparing myself for uni.
