I know I have been gone for awhile. My new job has LJ blocked, so I don't have the time to post like I used to.

Anyway, I am currently reading Let Me In other wise known as Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindovist and it is great. Like, I have missed my subway stop twice because I was so into the book. You should read it.

yesterday I junked my car (car free!), found out I fit in all my prom dresses from high school and bought three super awesome vintage hats. Life is pretty rocking right now!

As March was full of Animal/vegan books, I took a break from them in April and focused on some fiction I had been meaning to read (mainly so I could watch the movies about book #1 and #2).

It is official. I will be leaving my current job in New Brunswick at the end of May and will become fully employed in Brooklyn (Coney Island) June 1st. I will be getting rid of my car (YAY!) at the end of this month and will be depenedent on public transportation, bike, or foot to get around - this has been a goal of mine for a long time!

Today is my 3 year anniversary with my partner Zach. Because I am totally sentimental I wanted to post some pics of us over the years:

yo people, sorry I have been neglecting this livejournal thing but I have been working on another blog. Once I have it more polished and presentable, I'll make a post about it and the exciting new endeavor in my life.

The month of March offered two different animal centered books: Farm Sanctuary; Changing Hearts and Minds about Animals and Food by Gene Baur and Why We Love Dogs, Eat Pigs and Wear Cows: An Introduction to Carnism" by Melanie Joy PhD.
