I went on this rollercoaster on Sunday. Shocking, isn't it? I mean it's not like we went to an amusement park or anything. Okay, actually, I went on several rollercoasters. But this one eclipses all of the others. It goes from zero to a hundred and twenty in about four seconds and shoots you up four hundred and twenty feet. I think I saw Canada ( Read more... )

I laughed because I didn't want my house to burn down. Oh, and Next time I'll try to be a little gentler.

I've never set anything on fire. Well, okay. There was that toaster, but it was a very tiny fire.

Did that sound like I was complaining? Because I wasn't.

Be cautious of seemingly small things. Besides, we were talking about a stove, not a toaster. Who knows what could have happened. You looked in your element buttering bagels though, I must say.

Oh well then forget I said anything. Next time I'll bite harder.

Was the metaphor in seeing Canada across the lake, or in the speed and height of the roller coaster adventure?

Not asking you to actually glean the metaphor, just point me in the right direction.

Alright, now I wanna take a crack at it.

The speed and the height of the coaster are like falling in love. The intensity of the feelings when you first feel them, the way it suddenly hits you and skyrockets you. Seeing another country across the water is like seeing something that you can't have now that you're in love. Something you can only see, but not touch.

I'm still working on what the coaster coming back down is.

make me furrow my brow. For the record, that's a good thing.

Your entries are best read with a glass Dom. Romanee Conti 1996 La Tache Grand Cru and a pack of cigarettes.

Well, if it's a good thing, I'll have to thank you then.

They're best written with a pack of cigarettes, too.
