I'd take Merlin with me.

Hello!

I changed my LJ layout! Take a look! Merlin fans will be glad to see my header is now Bradley instead of Jensen! XD Although I did make it myself so it's not very good (and I already noticed a mistake I need to fix). Nevertheless, Bradley is always pretty. Yes, siree.

I guess while I'm here I shall give my thoughts on a few shows..

That's exactly the same way I think about it, that it's a shame, I mean. I just desperately wish I could enjoy A/G because then I would enjoy the show so much more too. *sigh* Oh well.

Haha! I squeed so hard when Arthur said about the farm! I mean, he was on a date with Gwen but he still couldn't help talking about Merlin *g*

Yay for Jeremy/Tyler. But, I know! I don't know how they do it because normally I'm very much an OTP only kind of shipper.

I bet Colin had a complete blast playing old Merlin, who pretty much saved/made the whole episode for me. It's kind of hilarious and a bit sweet too, that Arthur's retirement dreams feature Merlin heavily ;)

Cas being the Sheriff of Heaven = win. Crowley wins, too! I like where his character is going. Whenever Dean treasts Cas like crap, I just think that in the end they'll still be together and Dean will realize just how lucky he is that he has an angel by/on his side. Also, I can see some similarities of their relationship with that of Arthur and Merlin, so... yeah.

Old Merlin totally made the episode. I was sitting there watching all grumpy faced and then old!Merlin appeared and suddenly I couldn't stop laughing. Haha. It is very sweet that Arthur's farm dream features Merlin..I mean I'm pretty sure he could get any old person to do the work but he wants Merlin :P

Yeah, I know what you mean about Cas and Dean and you're right, their relationship is very much like Merlin and Arthur's in some ways. I guess that in the way we just have to know that Arthur appreciates Merlin really even as he's throwing things at his head, we also have to know that Dean appreciates Cas too. I mean you can see it in certain scenes..Dean definitely always looks to Cas for help and he seemed very happy/relieved when Cas first appeared. <3<3

Ah, my OTPs <3 <3

I totally agree. Old!Merlin was fabulous! :D Loved Colin's facial expressions, he was so funny! It was so cute that Arthur pictures Merlin in his dream! :D He doesn't want to be without him, no matter how many times he chucks stuff at him! I can see how his 'bullyish' behaviour can be seen as annoying, but it's just Arthur being his prattish self (and even Bradley has said Arthur is still a prat), but he has shown potential of being a good King too. I loved the scene when Arthur throws a pillow at Merlin's head and it almost hits Uther! lol

Yes, Colin's facial expressions were brilliant! It was so funny when he was trying to come up with his name and what he was doing. Typical of Merlin not to think things through properly. XD

Yeah, I think that's what's really sweet about Merlin and Arthur's relationship. Arthur may throw things at him but it's totally in an affectionate kind of way in that it just seems like Arthur has no idea of how a normal person goes about showing someone that they like them.

Oh I loved that bit with Uther and the pillow! And the way Merlin and Arthur looked like naughty boys who had been caught fooling around. Absolutely priceless *g*

I'd ship Arthur/Gwen if they had ANY chemistry and had EVER had a coversation for longer than two minutes before they started going on about 'true love'. Plus Gwen's a bit of a hussy, she was all over Merlin at first, then Lancelot... she's hardly reliable!

Arthur/Merlin seriously wins at life forever. The two of them on a farm... the image is to die for! And I could not stop laughing at old!Merlin. Sheer brilliance (then Merlin's sleeves were too long when he changed back and they went all the way to his knuckles and it was totally adorable). Ahh.

Argh, don't get me started! The rush from barely knowing who the other was to being in love is one of the most frustratingly unbelievable things to ever happen on a TV show imo. Just, no! And you're right, I see so much more chemistry in Arthur/Morgana, Merlin/Morgana, Merlin/Gwen and of course Arthur/Merlin than there will ever be between Arthur and Gwen. *fumes* LOL And Gwen is a total hussy! XD

I need a fic or fanart or something of Merlin and Arthur on the farm because the prospect is just too adorable. And now I'm going to have to go and rewatch the end to see Merlin's too long sleeves.. :P

It just... arg. IT CAME OUT OF NOWHERE. I usually ship canon pairings; like JD and Elliot in Scrubs, that had VERY OBVIOUS initial attraction and then seasons and seasons of development! Arthur/Gwen is just... suddenly there! We all know it has to happen eventually, but that's no excuse for sloppy writing and development, really.

I may have to go and post a farm prompt on the kink meme...

That's the biggest problem I have, that there was no build up. Who knows, if they'd have done it differently, I'm not saying that I'd be shipping them but I certainly wouldn't hate them as much as I do now.

Oh, you totally should :P

Old Merlin was the best. It looked like it was so much fun to play too. XD

Shipping everyone/everyone on TVD is surprisingly easy! The cast mesh that well. Although I agree with you, I'm not sold on Jeremy/Bonnie. But Bonnie doesn't seem that into him anyway, so.

Yeah, I think the shipping possibilities on TVD definitely have something to do with all the cast seemingly getting on so well. :)

Hmm, yeah, Bonnie seems to like that new guy, Luca? Can't say I'm sold on him yet but I guess it's only been one episode..we shall see. But then his dad is working with the baddies! lol

Yeah, so he's either bad or he doesn't know what his dad is up to. Either way it's not going to end well, is it? XD

Unlikely, considering the history of everything on TVD ever! Haha

Dean treating Cas like crap makes me sad :( The guy can never win when it comes to Dean, Dean clearly thinks that instead of cleaning up Heaven, Castiel should spend all his time fussing over him and his soulless brother. I do like soulless Sam though...for the first time in years it seems like he's his own character and not just Dean Winchester's sidekick XD

And more Crowley, please.

P.S Nice header ;)

I know :( At least in the latest episode Cas did get a bit snarky back though. I cheered! Hehe :) Hopefully one day Dean will acknowledge Cas and everything he does.. :( I can hope.

That's what I think too. It's great to actually have a Sam with a bit of a personality. Like even if he's evil at least he's garnering a reaction. Plus, he was actually quite funny in the last episode.

Thanks :)
