apartment window look out
look up blue sky
green tree red tree green
spitting in the grass
head underground
over you
and spin
downtown city lights
from the forest
of another city
hugging in the grass

When he left home,
She had a fever for a hospital.
My friend died alone,
On the phone/not on the phone.
Fever and awake or asleep.
When her boyfriend came home,
She was gone.
And it drives me crazy picturing him finding her that way.
She was the most kind and beautiful girl.
She was easy to talk to, and her laugh is actually one I can remember so clearly.
