Huh, nothing. A friend offered to take me to an AA mtg, stay at her house. We checked back at 12:30 a.m. just to be sure--I didn't think bro would be home by then, but, lo! I left the house without my key this morning, unbeknownst to me. We never lock the door unless all of us will be gone at the same time, the neighborhood just never rated much caution in that area. It's 91 degrees, humidity 89% or something like that, I just came in from a rain that started on my way to the library. Luckily I had an umbrella. but my jeans are wet from the knee down. I just started reading The Soloist (by Steve Lopez) here at the library. It looks really good so I'll check it out. It's about a schizophrenic homeless street musician. I noticed it because Robert Downey is in the movie made about it, and I sure worshipped that guy for a while, finally cut it out because it was too distracting ( Read more... ) -

I am going nuts. I just lost some money, an envelope with receipts and change from the upcoming Al-anon event I've been helping arrange. This is from a long line of thefts and money disappearing. It seems it's always after a period of not sleeping or being under a lot of stress. I know now one or more of my personalities is doing it on purpose--out ( Read more... )
