more ....... help?

*bypasses angst and gets to the point* I feel very uncomfortable with any/all marks I make on a paper currently, so I'm posting stuff for advice. I'm sure there's a lot of anatomy problems on this, but please don't point them out because I can't fix them at this point. TT___TT I need cropping advice or color advice or ... something............

I like the first one the best. I would say the third one, but I don't like that the gull is cropped on the left side.

Damn, that's a really stunning image!!! Watercolor, you say? *breaks out her watercolors*

So, would your ideal cropping include all of the bird but closer of Sedna as well?

<3 <3 <3 watercolor. X3 you paint?

I wouldn't crop too close to Sedna. I actually like the wall behind her (him?) and how it sweeps up and adds some balance to the image, but that's kind of cropped out of the second one. So yeah, I would definitely go with the first one.

Oil paints are my strongest painting medium, but I'd love to get better at watercolor, especially since I FAIL HARD with copic markers. D:

1st crop, third crop, second crop - in that order. I reallylike the first,really dislike the second. And yes, that is somebeautiful work you have there, as always.

I don't understand. The first one is perfect. You don't need to do anything. TT_TT

2nd crop (I like the inclusion of ground and the beautiful negative space), then 1st crop, and finally I really dislike the third. The gull is chopped, no clouds leading the eye around! All my favorite compositional elements gone! No likies! Anything but that one!

Holy smoly, your details are to die for. I love how elegant your lines are. And I like her face so much better this one too (I know, I know, no anatomy, but I liiiiiike it so I'm saying it anyway). And the gulls wings- aieee. So pretty.

But yup, beautiful work.

Your edits on my pencils really helped me for this! oAo <3 So thank you a lot for drawing over it for me. It's probably hard to remember the old version, but it did get better. ^^ Maybe. o__o;

I think .. i might go with the first crop, but give it a little more space to include more of the design.

I'm just glad to of any help. It definitely looks better.

The first crop is very popular and I think it's a very solid crop too.

I like the first cropping the best. The 2nd seems weak to me because it causes the hair to create a diagonal leading almost straight into the upper corner. Which isn't always necessarily bad but I don't think it would work well for this specific image. Plus, the red cloudy things in the back are already making a really strong, straight diagonal movement. I don't like the 3rd one much because you lose the white birds at the top. Their inclusion seems to create a sense of curved movement going slightly back into space, which looks good I think.
This is like, really dang gorgeous btw.
