We just watched the movie Das Experiment last night. It was a very good movie, but I found it fairly disturbing. Probably partially due to the fact that it is based on real life events (not literally, I am sure) and it did a fine job of not drifting too far from what feels like reality (mainly with the portrayal of the characters). We went to Prague last weekend for Vanessa's birtheday. Holy crap batman! That was the most beautiful city I have seen. Period. 2 visiting scientists in our institute today....incredibly bright guys in their respective fields, the both of them. However, 4.5 hours of talking/listening to complex biophysics (even if extremely cutting-edge and interesting) is a certain recipe for brain-overload.
