California Dreamin', well.....sort of.

Well I just got back from an awesome trip to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. San Francisco is still one of my favorite places to visit in California. I was hanging out with my friend Nikolai for a big part of the weekend. He usually has a thing for the obscure, so naturally we went to Amoeba Records for a John Waters signing… ( Read more... )

i think the difference between nyc and san fran is that in nyc mama cass and homeless man would have come to blows after a minutes or so in central park.

i think i'm going to check out san fransisco for their "bay to breakers" race/parade thingee. just look it up on google. the first thing that pops up is the official website and history of the race. one of the next things on their is a more realistic version of what it is with lots of pictures. on the official site the rules say "no alcohol allowed" on the course. on the pictures on the other sites they show people touting along kegs of beer for this 7 mile "race".

I saw a marathon when I was there riding a trolley but I didn't spot any running Port-O-Potties. Hmm...Kegs of beer and a 7 mile run. I figure you'll need to throw up 3.5 times to get through it. That's once per 2 mile ratio. Wait, would there be a handicapp of.....oh hell, let mattmiller figure it out!

right now i'm on a 80/20 ratio of going. i've gone from 90/10 to 75/25 and now i'm up to 80/20.

i told vinny earlier that i've had this fascination with going to the desert lately.

nice story......
I believe you will be interested in my new site - though it isn't constructed yet - thewalmartians.com ----- You just see San Fran's displacement factor, I mean, where do all the weirdos go in the rest of America? WAL*MART, that's right!

Looking foward to it. I believe that the invasion took place once the stores started running 24 hours. Before that, it was very difficult to identify these primitive beings from beyond.

Yes it's true. Rite Aid has a special place in my heart. I remember the first one I went to when I came to California. They sold liquor. I cried.
