...I am not, in fact, dead. I know, taking into account how often I've updated, it's a logical conclusion to come to, but I'm not. Now, onto the actual entry. I hate pop culture; with a passion. People at west have begun using the word "sick" in place of cool. Apparently disease is a great thing to have! On an opposite note, I have come to terms with older phrase variations which are simply badass. "Fresh" is great. So is "cool beans." Something being "swank" is boarderline, but if your being 70's, I can't argue.

When I was working at lloyd center, I heard the black girls say "filthay"

Man, them pants is filthay.

And I'm certain they weren't referring to their state of cleanliness
