People keep asking how my trip went and I never know how to respond besides, "It was fun. I ate a lot". Teri once did a really great vacation recap entry in this format, and I am shamelessly stealing it from her because it was so great, and also because I am feeling so much Teri love right now!

i have condemned myself to an excruciatingly lackluster semester, which during scheduling i thought would be rather difficult. i yawn a lot during my weeks and need to find more ways than three to be productive! would you like a or two multi-colored knitted scarves to battle the winter with?!
if i had $80, i'd pay it to see Sufjan Stevens! ack!!

I refused to pay $80 out of principle. I don't think stupid jerky scalper guys should be allowed to make a $55 profit on a $25 ticket! Ever!

We are totally sisters in in-class-yawning. Although maybe the yawns foretell high GPAs for both of us?!

And I get the giggles thinking about you imitating the sheep. "Duuuuudes, shut up!". Hahaha.

But poor donkey indeed. I can't believe he just stood there and took it without even grimacing at me or anything! What passive, sad little creatures they are.

"it was fun, I ate alot" sounds like an apt description of my dream getaway. APT I TELL YOU.

oh I have a job on campus now, in addition to living beside it. we should definately hangout when mutual boredom strikes.

p.s. thoughts on capture the flag this sunday evening?

Let me know when your schedule is amenable to on-campus hangouts and we'll do it up for sure! What is your on-campus job anyhow?

I am SO BAD at capture the flag! But I'm always up for team sports, even when I am no good. In other words, my thoughts are that I'm in! Have you started rallying the troops yet?

Aww, frowny face!

Wait, which is it- soccer baseball or capture the flag? I'm in for either, but obviously would personally prefer soccer baseball times a thousand. But whatever other people want to do- I'm in! Between the two of us, I bet we can assemble a fair sized crew once again.

as if you got to see sufjan stevens. lucky.

also, i've always wanted to take a political sociology course. sadly, there's none offered here.

THERE WERE MATCHING OUTFITS AND CHEERS AND POMPOMS! SO GOOD!

As if you don't have a political sociology class there! So many profs here (both in the political science department and the sociology department) specialize in it that I can't imagine it isn't also the case down in Kingston. I missed the first class and am apprehensive that it could turn out really terribly, but it's taught by some crazy Marxist dude nicknamed "J Lo" so I can only imagine that it will at least be entertaining?

I'll have to email you the syllabus or something!

haha its funny you said that, because i like to sit and read syllabi (plural?) of courses i'm not taking. today my roommate called me a nerd because i was reading hers. i guess she was right.

I guessed you might do that for one very good reason:

I do too.

Nerds know their own kind!
