I am currently sitting on my balcony with my ibook balanced atop the armrest of my chair. I spent my entire day this way, waiting impatiently for the Canada Post delivery person. Only, the Canada Post delivery person never actually arrived to deliver to me all of my worldly posessions. While waiting, I tediously edited my menstrual suppression ( Read more... )

Meh! I am free and I will be in town tomorrow! I have to drop my (last!) paper of thw winter semester around 9 and I thought staying in school to catch up on some gerontology readings for a couple hours (which means until I get bored.) What about we have lunch or something? I only have a class at 6pm and thought about staying in Montreal for the whole day, go shopping and whatnot.
I have a new cell number and all, its 514-622-6674!

Aww, I was just thinking about you. I went by that ice cream place Le Patio and remembered the time we got maple tofu ice cream at that other place! I anticipate much tofu ice cream consumption in my near future. Mmm.

Also, congrats on the last paper, and on sorting out all your stuff with that class. It must be a huge, huge relief!

Re: tomorrow: I might not be able to leave my house if I'm waiting for the mail delivery person to arrive, is the only thing. I will try to sort out my mail situation, and if I do and can go for lunch I'll let you know! Otherwise, the only way I can hang out is if you want to come over here and we order in some Chuchai or something? Grr, I just want to leave my house already!

I should! It'll be all, "Pamela Clark received her BSocSc in Political Science and Women's Studies from the University of Ottawa. She will be attending the lefty academic haven York University in September to become a Master of Dismantling The Patriarchy. And probably some stuff about feminist and late modern conceptions of corporeality too. If you don't think maple tofu ice cream is delicious, she probably hates you".

I'm friends with Corrine and I think we met at the Belle & Sebastian concert in Montreal and you have a lot of smart things to say here so I hope you don't mind me adding your journal

I didn't know it until I started researching for this paper!

You know, I always get weepy about moving, but I'm not even the slightest bit sad about leaving my apartment, and Ottawa in general, behind. I thought I would be a sobbing mess the entire bus ride here, but I guess I've been too excited about what is to come to even get a little bit sad!

Oh no! I must have just missed you! I was in your neck of the woods picking up mail, and I stopped by your house at about 5:30 but you weren't home. Then I tried to leave you a note, but I had no pen. A series of catastrophes!
