Someone stole my bike! I left it locked outside for an hour, and when I went back to retrieve it it was gone! If anyone in Montreal sees someone around on a blue cruiser with reflective hearts all over it, please PUNCH THAT PERSON IN THE THROAT! This sucks. every time I take my bike anywhere I worry about it the whole time I'm out. I am scared of moving because I feel like bike theft is even worse elsewhere.

One of my friends spent high school whining about how boys never liked her, and after graduation promptly got contacts and a nose job, then lost her virginity. I've never decided what made me sadder, the fact that she immediately had three boys chasing after her after this, or that she seemed so pleased that !these small changes! had changed her life at last

Bike theft is terrible everywhere, but Montreal and Toronto are especially terrible, lucky for me :/

That is a very upsetting story about your friend. Makes me think, though, is it possible that her personality/confidence changed even more than the physical changes, and couldn't that be a huge part of it all? Maybe I'm being too optimistic, and the world is really just cruel and gross.
