While I know I would have loved a boy just as much, I am THRILLED that the baby is a girl. It's what we were both hoping for. And, more importantly, the nurse said everything looked healthy and measured at the right size for how far along I am.

I'm being evasive on the name question at the moment, since when I DID tell some people (at school) the response was kind of tepid. Like, "that's really the best you can come up with?" Yeah, bitches, it is. Back off!
