We're going out during rush hour traffic in this horrible snowstorm to get our picture professionally taken.
If we didn't have to go out, we'd stay home! Hope it will be fun! :) -

With all the stress of work, Nicolas and I recently sat down and crunched the numbers to see if I couldl stay home. Hence, I am now a stay at home mom since Monday morning. We haven't told our daycare provider just yet, I will be doing that tomorrow. I am a little sad as she is so great with the little guy, but I am also looking forward to spending ( Read more... ) -

It's 10 p.m.
It has rained a bit.
and it it still over 30 bloody degrees and it is so humid I could swim.
It is too hot to cook lunch for tomorrow. We don't have a car (yet, only a few more days) to go and get some produce.
I'll take crazy subzero weather any day over this heat. At least I can add layer before going outside! -

For the first time in a year, my family visited us.
It was a very nice visit, if a little hot. We must get air conditioning next year! It's not that 38 C is so hot. It's that going from -40 C to 40 C is a huge temperature change to get used within 6 months. (-40 to 104 F, I think).
