I do the same thing with taking more classes than I'm supposed to. At OSU, we're supposed to do 3 a quarter and right now I'm in 5. I love school (most of the time), but I also feel like guilty or something about not making the most of my education if I only take "what I'm supposed to".
I can completely relate to everything that you wrote. My parents are paying $35,000 a year, and when I find myself breathing/relaxing between huge bouts of doing work, I am slammed with a feeling of guilt. I have always kind of been the over-acheiver-geek-who-works-way-too-damned-hard though. I find life more satisfying that way and get axious when I have *gasp* free time. As you can tell, I am totally into making fun of myself and my oddities.
Hahahaha...it's my bs two-credit course that is supposed to be hella fun! And is this Joey from Brillig? If so, how's life? And how's the art department/Mrs. G/Mrs. Hicks?

Hey Joey, I am really sorry to hear about KK's Grandfather. My heart goes out to her at this time. My little brother is pretty close to Joey Basemen and what happened was so tragic. These past few weeks have involved so much death for the people around us (my grandfather included) and it's really all too much for me to comprehend right now... Keep me updated about the NAHS community and please tell Mrs. G and Mrs. Hicks that I said hi. Take care of yourself, kiddo.
