i just got back from my fall break trip to Canada with Evey to visit Lauren. the train took 9-10 hours to get to Montreal, and about the same amount of time to get back. we stayed in Lauren's very nice apartment that she shares with 2 roommates. the drinking age up there is 18, so we were able to casually go to bars or wherever without having to ( Read more... )

today i played in my first singles tennis match. i definitely thought that i'd be playing doubles today and was quite shocked when i found out that i was playing singles. no worries though, i won the sets 6-2 and 6-1.

me tennis match yesterday was my first varsity sport that i've played in since getting to college. i played women's doubles and it started off a little rocky, but we came from behind to win the match! our team won 8 of the 9 matched we played that day, then we got mexican food. i really like being on this team at college. abstract paiting is going ( Read more... )

went to Brooklyn to visit Ava for a couple of days, and yet again got sick the day after i got Back from the city. strep throat this time (at least i get a different illness each time).

now to vigorously finish my video assignments

i like my video class a lot.

it's strange and slightly comforting to recognize that i don't know someone that i once knew so well.
