i saw the devils rejects tonight and its so great to go to a movie and have it surpass your expectations for once instead of leaving you greatly misled and pissed off (wonka, fantastic four, war of the worlds). it was dark, depraved, sick, grotesque, twisted, sexual, violent, smart, and well made

what didnt you like about charlie and the chocolate factory? and also, thoughts on WWTW? I saw both and I dont really know what to think. I did like charlie of course, but I felt something was lacking. Anyhoo, just wondering heh.

i didnt like the oompa loompas or their songs in this one, and i didnt like the whole father back story, and i guess overall i was dissapointed, the whole thing just kinda left a bad taste in my mouth i suppose. and wotw was just dumb, nothing but special effects and tom cruise, it had fake induced sentimentality, terrible character development, and a deus ex machina ending. i didnt read the book, but im sure that if it is regarded as such a classic it built suspense or enstilled wonder somehow, something the new movie did not.

Ya,so after a long wait to see Devil's Rejects,we went the day it came out. Right before it started they evacuated everyone for a bomb threat. Eventually let everyone back in.
After an hour the movie just cut out. Was I pissed.
