We finished yesterday around 6:30 pm (my sisters came down to Texas for Potterfest 2007) and I thought it was really, really good!!!! She is a pretty amazing author, the way she weaves all the little incidental details from the previous books into the main story... What did you think?
I thought it was great, yea as to her weaving "Aren't you a wizard?" I loved it.
As a twin though... I was not ready, not expecting it. I thought the Weasely family couldn't escape unscathed, but I wasn't ready for one of the twins, I mean for Fred or George to be left alone like that. I was thinking it could have been anyone from Arthur to Ginny, but not the twins. Oh and I am glad Percy came back, I really was beginning to wonder if he mightn't have been adopted or something.
Oh and little Colin Creevey, I thought he would be safe with the other underagers, so that surprised me also.
But I thought it was really good, except the epilogue, and that no Slytherins stayed. I thought at least one or two might have mangaed to stay and help fight.
Glad I was right about Snape, he is JoReK's favorite so that was good.
