I'm finding regular writing rather less easy than I remember it being. Perhaps you've noticed. Most likely, I suppose, it's because I'm not currently living a terribly interesting life and have been idling for weeks through the most drawn-out case of a head cold I can imagine ever having afflicted anybody whose immune system wasn't compromised by ( Read more... )

I've never seen your posts before. Maybe you just recently added me back, but nonetheless; I admire the way you write. & I miss you. I've been sick as well, bronchitis now. Hope we can both get over this soon, hah.

I'm not dealing with bronchitis; it's just the limbo portion of a cold or minor flu. I never get passed it and I stay in this limbo for a while. It's been a while. I appreciate that you admire the way I write. Compliments like that keep me writing. :)

I miss you so damned much Ms. Norma. Please feel better soon (That was my attempt at appealing to your immune system, in hopes that it misses me enough to grant my request, and start putting in some work against that ridiculous head-cold. The missing you part, however, was not even close to a lie.).

I hope my immune system heard me reading that in my head. When are you coming out here? We planned this almost one year ago and I still have yet to see you!

I'll definitely be out there the weekend of April 24th. God willing, I will have a new car by then, and might actually be able to get around your town without begging other people to drive me. I was just in town for 4 days at a Magic: The Gathering convention, but I was literally playing for 60 hours in 4 days, and did nothing else, nor did I have any transportation :(

I was working during that. A group of guys from that convention stayed at my hotel and played in the restaurant overnight. It was actually really nice to have the background music of everyone laughing and having a good time rather than silence and MUZAK. Too bad you weren't there!
