The religious right is currently fighting for the right to express their intolerance of homosexuals in schools, on campuses, and in federal positions! Because it's bigotry to suppress their viewpoint that the Big Guy in The Sky takes a real interest in hating fags.

Now...don't get me wrong. I'm not for intolerance, but is this not a right the people already have? No one can actually stop them from expressing their intolerance--through words anyways. Right? I mean...freedom of speech and whatnot? Are they fighting just to fight now? Homosexuals (or blacks, or whoevers) can express their intolerance for intolerance too. Or am I missing something...?

The problem is that they're attacking homosexuality as a lifestyle choice and claiming that restricting them from harrassing homosexuals is bigotry; they're also continually arguing that Christianity is under attack in America. The difference is that their religion actually is a "lifestyle choice," whereas scientists have recently demonstrated pretty strong suggestive genetic evidence that homosexuality is not.

The areas specified are areas in which full freedom of speech are legally limited: schools, federal campuses, etc., in order to maintain federal funding, have to have certain standards of public conduct, including the prevention of hate crimes.

This comic gets it! I don't see how a god based on kindness and loving-ness could hate anyone, and if he's infallible, homosexuality what?
