One of the things that has been fun to do for every holiday is to share with the Clan some things I have written over the years. This morning, to wish them a blessed Samhain, this was part of what I wrote to them

ahhhhh, what a lovely post! I want to crawl into that cave with you too! Selfishly, I'd like just the two of us there in teh cave for a bit.

When I look at the clay sculpture you gave me for Yule a few years ago, the woman who looks as if she is resting in a womb, a cave, I am able to put myself in my own cave, and of course where I am, I bring you with me in my heart. It has been a really powerful tool for meditation in the weeks that lie between death and rebirth, samhain and yule.... Thank you for reminding me.
