An Important Note About Prompts

There was a bit of controversy surrounding a recent prompt and the resulting fic. I received several comments from people who were very much disgusted by the idea, and they asked me to change the rules to specify that only human parings be allowed. There was also the suggestion of putting it up to a vote. I have not made a post about this yet

I have just discovered that a particular kink or 'fantasy' I've had for several years is actually a proper fetish with a medical name - I never knew what to call it before and what I was calling it...admittedly was embarassing and I used to dread people's reactions to it. But now I know that it's actually very common I don't feel so bad. So I think I may post a prompt involving it because it really does turn me on and I think that there are others who feel the same but are too ashamed to request it (even anon) because some people can be so judgemental and seeing that judgement even in text can be hurtful and make you feel bad but they can gtfo now! :)

I agree that this is a place where anyone should be able to request/write anything.

If people don't like it, they can CHOOSE NOT TO READ IT. It's not as if we're shoving it at them.

So thanks for standing up for that, and I think you're one of the best mods I've encountered on any forum/comm before!
