Yay for updates! I liked Rose and Zoe's sparring session, how much it said about Rose and Serenity's crew. You've captured River's voice nicely. (Poor Doctor though, stuck in those mines!) I can't wait to see Jones and Rose reunited...

Oh, thank you! I sweated a bit over the sparring session (it was originally a yoga class, hee!), but I'm glad what came across was what I wanted to: how Rose has sort of made herself at home on Serenity. And River--well, River's just fun. :D

Ooooh, love the icon! It's perfect for this story. The world needs more Serenity/Who icons. I've only seen one other - honorh has one with Nine, Rose & Jack that says "Big Damn Heroes". I seriously covet that icon every single time I see it.

Yoga? Ha! I'm sure both could/would do yoga, but sparring is so much more fun. Plus, it's way less pervy for the rest of crew to be watching a fight than yoga class. Although I'm sure Jayne would have had front row seats either way...

I just found this story and read all the chapters you have so far in one fell swoop when I should have been sleeping. It's marvelous! I really enjoyed the conversations between Rose and River. Rose taking Jayne down made for a splendid mental picture. Andrea is a likable, compelling OC and just what Jack needs. I'm glad they're going to have their night together before Jack goes off and finds Rose and gets the Doctor out of the mines or wherever he is.

I eagerly await more!

I am refusing to admit that particular piece of canon exists. The Face of Boe thing, I mean. :P I really do wonder if RTD was just messing with us with that.
