I don't remember the last time I felt this happy. It's like everyday I spend back in Columbus is just better than the last. It wasn't chemicals in my brain causing depression, it was Ada! And now I'm free, listening to show tunes and HAPPY!

Why is it that gay men from North Carolina all feel a need to put some form of "NC" or "Carolina" in their screen names, as if they are the only gay man ever to emerge from the state? Am spamming my own journal today, but don't much care.

I'm releasing my opinion column here first, hoping to get some feedback before I put it in the Northern Review. Please leave me a comment (especially criticism) if you read it.

( When I spoke out against the invasion of Afghanistan shortly after September 11, I was physically beaten at school, and reprimanded time and time again by my peers.
